Comedian James Johann With his quick wit, self-deprecating charm, and high-energy delivery, James brings a uniquely relatable and laugh-out-loud perspective to the stage.
Born in the Midwest during the bell-bottom era of the 1970s, James grew up surrounded by country music, Catholic school discipline, and a parade of questionable haircuts. After being fired from a string of “McJobs,” he found his true calling in stand-up comedy—and he’s been making audiences laugh ever since.
James has headlined comedy clubs across the country and was featured in the “New Faces of Comedy” showcase at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His TV credits include Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CMT’s Comedy Stage, and Dry Bar Comedy, where his special Rurally Funny continues to earn rave reviews.

James Johann was born during the 70’s era of bell-bottom jeans, wood paneled station wagons and disco music. James has performed at the “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, was featured on Comedy Central’s “Premium, completed the theatre tour ”Paying For The New Trailer” (Blue Collar Comedy Tour) starring Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. For the comfort of all guests and performers, late entry is not permitted. Doors will close 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
